he's a 24 year old back up dancer.

I know all 24 year olds are DYING to take on baby twins and all..... 

Pippa's a girl after my own heart.  Not only is she gorgeous, fashionable, and all the rage at the moment -

but she knows how to rebound and rebound well.  Show that ex who's boss with not 1, but TWO british boys. 

sure, one has a serious receding hair line - but thats what the other one with the long blonde locks is for. 

Anne Hathaway is engaged!! 

The guy she's been dating since her crazy embezzling ex has popped the question.  

How cute and all-American couple are they with that adorable pup? 

Miley Cyrus said she's a stoner.... now she's saying it's a joke.

 

Something about her being called "Bob Miley" as a joke at her 19th birthday party.....I think it's probably true, because I'm guessing the only way people can handle being around her and hearing her obnoxious voice is by being high as a kite.  

Seriously... look at that mouth.  I'm cringing just thinking about the sounds.

I know you all agree. 

You know how celebs celebrate Thanksgiving? They don't sit at home in their sweats and pig out like I do.... they go flaunt their skinny bods all over Cabo.

Has anyone seen the first episode of Kourtney and Kim Take NY yet??? It didn't DVR so I haven't caught it yet... but I can't wait to see how the whole Kris + Kim thing plays out.

Monogram Monday

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday :) 

I am more exhausted than I thought I would be, but it was great to be home with my family and have my aunt and cousins in town. 
This is how I am currently feeling

and it was well worth it!

I helped out in the kitchen as much as possible - appetizers and desserts only.... I leave the important traditions to the pros. 
Here are a couple of things I made:


sweet & sour meatballs

 cheesy artichoke dip 

lemon bars

and I released my inner Martha Stewart and tablescaped...

My cousin is engaged and we headed over Friday to Bridals by Lori (Atlanta's Say Yes to The Dress) and went wedding dress shopping!
She picked a gorgeous dress, Monty "jacked her up", and I am in love with the dress she picked! 

celebrating finding the dress :) 

And incase you are already thinking ahead to Christmas like I am.... 

these do-it-yourself monogram candles would make great inexpensive hostess gifts or gifts for friends! 

After making monogram cookies... use the cookie cutter + a hammer to make a personalized candle!

Thanksgiving is the time to give thanks.....

I'm so so excited to be heading home tomorrow to spend the holiday with my family!

Tory Burch Sandals

Tory Burch sandals are by far my favorite shoes in the world.... in the summer they are all I wear. 

When I saw her new Resort 2012 sandals I immediately 

added them to my wish list! 

And they are already available for pre-order! 

Can't wait for some warm weather and sand in a few weeks when I can pull my flip flops back out!

Too Much Chocolate Cake w Peanut Butter Chips

I made this cake this weekend and it couldn't have been easier - or more delicious! 

The recipe calls for just chocolate, but I added added some Reese's Peanut Butter Chips.  (Butterscotch chips would have been great too) And the cup of sour cream makes this cake so moist and rich! 

Too Much Chocolate Cake w Peanut Butter Chips

Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
• 1 (5.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (I used 1.5 cups peanut butter chips, and half cup chocolate chips)
• 
  

• Directions

  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  
  

  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, beaten eggs and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well greased 12 cup bundt pan.
  • Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is springy to the touch and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean
  
  • 1.  Cool cake thoroughly in pan at least an hour and a half before inverting onto a plate If desired, dust the cake with powdered sugar
  • 1.  I nixed the powdered sugar and opted for frosting and decorating with more peanut butter and chocolate chips.
