I had a nice relaxing weekend - and actually enjoyed the cooler temperatures!
We had a picnic outside and listened to a neil diamond cover band
one of the more hilarious saturday night activities I've had in awhile
it was so nice out that we slept with all the windows open,
and then woke up to two HUGE crashing sounds at 3 am
we ran outside to find a car had driven straight through the Athleta stores windows across the street
not the best pic - but the car is behind all the gawkers in the store window
the late night party kids on the street informed us that
after apparently driving up onto our side of the street right in front of our apartment door
he swerved to the other side, hit a car that was parked on the street and then crashed into the store windows
no one was hurt - so I found this situation to be hilarious
{I also found it hilarious that we ran into two
friends as we were out there}
caught up on some fall reading
and baked some funfetti cupcakes to have some sanity from hitting the books
